With a history of excellent patient care dating back to 1965, NorthEast Orthopedics was formed in 1999 as a merger between Cabarrus Orthopedic Clinic and The Orthopedic Group of Concord. Today the clinic is composed of 14 physicians and 5 physician assistants. Our physicians and physician assistants specialize in orthopedic surgery, which deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the bones, muscles, tendons, nerves and ligaments in adults and children. Our subspecialites include sports medicine, hand & wrist, shoulder & elbow, foot & ankle, spine, and total joint replacement.
The focus of NorthEast Orthopedics is providing compassionate care close to home. We take the time with our patients to help them understand their condition and work toward the best possible outcome. Our 30,000 square foot office building houses Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, DEXA scanning for bone mineral density, X-Ray capability, and the site offers full service MRI capability. Our surgeons operate at both Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast and Gateway Surgery Center.
