Located in the heart of NASCAR country, Concord Speedway presents a wide range of racing events from early spring to late fall annually. With two completely different tracks situated in the Piedmont area of North Carolina on 70 plus acres, there are many racing activities you can easily fit your visit into any budget.
Many of today's racing greats started their careers at Concord, U.S.A. Since 1982, nationally ranked drivers such as Bobby Labonte, Ernie Irvan, Jack Sprague, Rich Bickle, Freddie Query, Jeff Purvis, Butch Miller, Tim Steele and many more have all taken the elusive checkered flag at our Saturday night NASCAR WHELEN All-American Series events.
Concord Speedway is famous as the "World's Fastest Half-Mile TriOval." America's Super Short Track is host to the NASCAR Whelen All American Series for Wilburn Auto Body Late Model Stock Cars, Coca-Cola Pure Stocks, Tim Marburger Honda Fast & Furious Fours, Thunderstox, 5 events in 2010 for HUTCHBSR Pro Late Models and Touring Series on Saturday nights. In addition to the half-mile tri-oval, Concord Speedway has a smaller, quarter-mile track located behind the larger one. The cars that race weekly on this track in the Spring & Fall are the INEX RPM ProFormance Legends and Bandolero divisions along with Arena Cars Outdoors. The USAC Ford Focus Midgets present "Mid-Week Mayhem" on selected Wednesday evenings during the summer. Schedule>>
