Dear Forest Hill Family,
This November I hope you’ll join us for our new series, “The Difference.” The theme revolves around the difference to which those who follow Jesus are called versus some of the world’s system of values and messages.
Each week we’ll examine the Biblical and counter-cultural perspectives:
• Immediate gratification versus a call to holiness
• Shallowness versus deep life transformation
• Consumerism versus a life of servanthood
• The blame game versus a life of praise and thanksgiving
People whose lives are truly transformed are holy and different from the world’s system of values. I’m not sure many of us truly understand how radically different our lives should be when Jesus beckons us to follow Him. However, our goal this month is to expose “The Difference.”
