Our practice offers general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. We place particular emphasis on the treatment of skin cancer, chemical peels, juvederm, restylane, botox, sclerotherapy of leg veins, ALA-Blu-U for acne, precancers and signs of aging, and laser removal of unwanted facial veins and redness.

For psoriasis, we offer Narrow Band UVB treatment in Mooresville at Piedmont HealthCare Urgent care at Exit 36 of I-77. We also manage patients on Enbrel and Humira. Nikki Faldowski, our phyician's assistant provides treatment with accutane, for those patients with severe acne who are willing to comply with the multiple mandates required to take this medication.

Our practice offers Restylane AND Juvederm. These injectable products are used to inject deep folds or wrinkles such as the groove between the mouth and cheeks. These products are longer lasting than collagen and provide volume enhancement. We additionally offer lip enhancement. If you've always desired fuller lips these fillers are excellent options. We do botox for correction of frown lines, brow lines, and crow's feet wrinkles of the eyes. Our patients keep returning and sending us their friends and relatives, so if you've heard of restylane, juvederm and botox and haven't tried it, give yourself the gift of youth.

Our practice also places special emphasis on salicylic, glycolic, Jessner's and TCA PEELS for ACNE, WRINKLES, and DISCOLORATIONS as well as skin rejuvenation in general. One of our newer treatments is a non-invasive treatment to remove pitted acne scars. This treatment is safe, relatively painless and over a period of 2-6 treatments we can significantly diminish pitted acne scars.

We perform SCLEROTHERAPY for SPIDER VEINS. We recently changed from saline to glycerine, a product that is much less painful than saline and much better at removing small vessels and matted blush spots.

One of the biggest parts of our practice is the treatment of skin cancer. We are able to offer treatment for most skin cancers within our office saving you the time and expense of having to go to an outpatient surgery center or to the hospital. We have access to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center's pathology department when frozen section analysis of the tumor is required. We perform primary closures of wounds in addition to grafts and flaps when necessary. We also perform ALA+Blu-U for precancers.

With the Candela Vbeam perfecta we have a state of the art laser to treat rosacea, broken vessels on the face, and red spots on the neck or other areas of the body. We anticipate adding some form of fractional resurfacing for lines around the mouth and eyes in 2009.
