D.C. Paint Works, Inc. was established by David Chewning in May of 1997 and was incorporated in December of 1998.
We have 10,000 square feet of work space under roof and two acres of outside lay-down area. This creates a very versatile job shop capable of handling pipe, steel, or the smallest of parts. We offer sandblasting, coatings, linings, and lead paint removal (abatement) and ecapsulation.
We offer many of the same in-house painting, sandblasting, coatings or fiberglassing work on-site. We have the knowledge, experience and equipment to bring the job to you.
From repairing cracks to installing nozzles and manways as well as re-lining tank interiors, we can meet your fiberglassing needs.
We can provide the application of all of the following coatings: epoxies, urethanes, esters, vinyls, zincs, marine coatings, high-bake phenolics, chlorinated rubbers, fiberglass reinforced plastics and high-heat coatings.

It is the policy of D.C. Paint Works to provide a safe and healthy place of employment for all employees and the public in each of our operations and to voluntarily abide by all safety regulations as they pertain to our industry. Safety will always take precedence over more expedient unsafe operations, and every attempt will be made to provide equipment and create conditions that will make for a safe and healthy work place. An important part of maintaing a safe and healthy work place, is training. We provide consistent and up-to-date training for our employees. The following is a list of some of the training we provide.

From I-85 North Take Exit 41 (Sugar Creek Road). At the top of the ramp go right to the third stoplight, which is 1.4 miles. This is North Tryon Street. Take left and go one mile. Young Ford will be on the left side of the street, Eastway Drive will be on the right side and there will be a 3rd right lane. Keep right in 3rd lane and this forks to right (Old Concord Road). Go 1/2 mile to 1st stop light (Orr Road). Go right and we are located approximately one mile on left, next to Hunter Farm Milk Company.
From I-77 Take Exit 18 (Reames Road/W.T. Harris Blvd. East). Go through 14 stop lights (approximately 9 miles). Take Old Concord Road Exit. At the top of the ramp, turn right. Go one mile and go left over railroad tracks at Newell-Hickory Grove Road. Take 1st right (Orr Road). We are located two blocks on the right, last driveway before stop sign.
