At Southminster, we believe that your retirement should be anything and everything you want it to be. Our goal is to provide you with a community offering life enriching opportunities to learn, explore, experience and grow as you choose.
Located in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, North Carolina, Southminster is the result of a partnership between Christ Episcopal Church and Myers Park Baptist Church with a common vision of an ecumenical, not-for-profit, Retirement Community. After years of research and generous support from area individuals, in 1987 the vision became a reality with the ribbon cutting for one of North Carolinas most gracious retirement communities. Southminster opened its doors to an elegant and traditional community designed to meet the expectations of mature and discerning Charlotteans. It was an immediate success; 22 years later, it continues to be a stable example of responsible stewardship.
