As the Body of Christ
we are called to promote spiritual growth to all of those around us, through worship, service and fellowship. We do this in response to God's love for us.

The Episcopal Church of St. Peter by-the-Lake is a Church rooted in the Episcopal tradition and committed to the following:

Expressing our love and respect for God and our fellow human beings through worship, prayer, study and service; seeking to be faithful both to the Great Commission* and the Great Commandment of Christ.*
Submitting ourselves to the doctrine, discipline and worship of Christ as expressed by the Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Western North Carolina.
Interpreting our faith through the lens of scripture, tradition, and reason.

Welcoming all of God's Children.
