Welcome to Starks Pediatrics at Mallard Creek

Dr. Starks founded Starks Pediatrics at Mallard Creek in 2007 with the goal of bringing children's healthcare back to the community, back to each family knowing and trusting their doctor.
Dr. Starks sought to create a healing village for children which provides for all of a childs health care needs from well child care to outpatient management of acute and chronic illness. The philosophy of our healing village is that each child and family deserves respectful, experienced, and trusted care. Dr. Starks has worked tirelessly to provide just that type of care to children and has brought together a group of compassionate and experienced staff to assist in creating an environment in which children feel welcomed and nurtured. Announcing Dr. Maj Goodwin
Starks Pediatrics is pleased to welcome Dr. Maj Goodwin to our staff. Dr. Goodwin is originally from Nashville, TN. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Goodwin then returned home to Nashville where she attended Meharry Medical College and graduated with cum laude honors in 2003. She went on to complete residency training at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital in 2006. Read more...
