From the moment you step in the front entrance you'll realize that there is something truly unique about Elms At Tanglewood. Right before you is an old-fashioned ice cream parlor–not something you would expect to find in an assisted care facility. But we think that it establishes the special ambiance that makes everyone, resident or visitor, feel at ease. You'll find this level of attention to details throughout Elms At Tanglewood. From the secure, enclosed courtyard, to the outdoor walking area, everything is planned for the comfort and convenience of our residents and their families. We want everyone to feel like this is a special place, a place where the care and attention your loved ones receive, enhances the quality of their everyday lives.

Everything at Elms At Tanglewood is oriented to the comfort, well-being and security of our residents. We offer private and companion accommodations in spacious rooms, each with a view of either the surrounding countryside or the enclosed courtyard. And of course, every room has a private bath and ample storage space. Nursing stations are located so that there is an unrestricted view of each hall of our residential wings. This, along with our emergency call system, means that assistance for any need brings immediate response from our 24-hour nursing staff.
For relaxing, or visiting away from the room, there are large living rooms that overlook the courtyard. This provides a pleasant "get away" setting and atmosphere for our residents and their visitors. Our goal is to provide assisted care with a feeling of independence. Come visit us.
