The owners and employees of The Carriage House welcome you. Founded in 1969, The Carriage House quickly came to be known as a landmark in Winston-Salem. Due to commercial real estate development and the retirement of one of the original owners, The Carriage House closed its doors in June of 1996.
After a little time off, Chris Berry, an original owner, was ready to get back into the restaurant business. Along with new partners, John Stabolitis and George Stabolitis, they searched for a site to open another restaurant. In January 1997, a location became available directly across the street from The Carriage House's original location. As of September 1, 1997, that location became the new home of The Carriage House Restaurant.
In trying to keep with the traditions of the original Carriage House, the menu was left mainly unchanged. We have made some new additions recently but have kept the favorites around. It is a place that old memories are remembered and new ones are created by families and friends that dine with us.
The Carriage House serves only the best of western beef, broils seafood to perfection, shreds The Carriage House style salads with pride, offers daily specials, and satisfies a variety of tastes.
We want you to have a pleasant dining experience. We take pride in serving the most important people in the world - our customers, some of whom travel great distances on a regular basis. Once again, welcome to The Carriage House!
