Garden Creek Pet Clinic began in the late 1990's as a satellite practice for a larger veterinary hospital in Greensboro. As this area grew, GCPC grew along with it. In early 2006, the owners of Garden Creek Pet Clinic decided to sell, and Dr. Mortenson purchased the hospital in June of that year (more information on Dr. Mortenson and our staff members is located elsewhere on this site). From that moment on, we at Garden Creek Pet Clinic have committed ourselves to providing the service and care that our patients and their owners expect and deserve. We no longer have a larger practice to "lean on," and our self-reliance has made us stronger. Being a relatively small practice, our team members have become a close family, and we have the ability to provide more one-on-one personal attention to pets and their families.
Don't let the word "Clinic" fool you. We are a full-service veterinary hospital, focusing on preventative medicine. We provide array of services, such as surgery with optional use of a laser, dentistry, radiology, in-house laboratory, a local larger laboratory for more precise diagnostics, prescription diets, as well as a close working relationship with two local emergency hospitals and a referral center. We also provide some limited boarding and grooming services.
