Welcome! Animal Hospital West has been serving Forsyth and surrounding counties for over 45 years. From our location at 412 Jonestown Road in Winston Salem, NC we provide state of the art medical care for your pets.
We provide wellness programs for health care management from pediatrics to geriatrics. Our monitoring program aids in the detection and prevention of patient medical needs. Wellness and diagnostic procedures are very important in order for us to recommend proper care, and there is an onsite pharmacy.
Animal Hospital West is equipped with modern technology, digital X-ray equipment and telemedicine which allows us to confer with Radiologists when necessary.
Our surgical suite is equipped with monitors so that we can follow vital signs i.e. oxygen concentration, heart rate and blood pressure while pets are under anesthesia. We approach all procedures with great care.
We provide a dental suite with appropriate equipment to practice preventative dental care. We also treat periodontal disease and perform surgery when necessary. Dental X-rays are part of our routine dental wellness care and are vital in health care management.
Our clinic also offers diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, endoscopy, video ear scope, fully equipped laboratory, EKG and access to specialists that we can consult with and/or refer patients to when necessary.
Our exam rooms are equipped with special software that, if needed, allow us to demonstrate your pets condition to you.
We have one of the finest indoor large dog kennel boarding in the area. We can do cat boarding, too!
