Established over 70 years ago by Richard Dunn, MD Green Valley Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility represents one of the oldest and most respected medical practices in the Triad. The practice has now grown to seven board certified Ob/Gyn physicians with 200 years of combined experience in caring for the healthcare needs of the women in our community. The group also has extensive experience in the management of both high and low risk pregnancies after performing almost 25,000 deliveries. As important as experience, is the group's dedication to continued training and education with all members now using the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques and advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical methods to solve many gynecologic problems that formally required major surgery.
Our full service office provides premium obstetric care with the latest ultrasound equipment as well as fetal assessment with non stress testing and biophysical profile analysis. In office ultrasound guided amniocentesis is also available for high risk patients.
We have wide experience in providing prenatal care to women with hypertensive disorders as well as managing pregnancies in women with diabetes, threatened preterm labor and multiple gestations. We also work closely with the perinatology services at both Duke University and the Women's Hospital of Greensboro.
Our gynecologic services treat all types of general care encountered by women including annual and preventive health exams, management of abnormal pap smears, HPV vaccination, family planning, infertility care, ovulation induction, artificial insemination, menopause management, evaluation of pelvic pain and osteoporosis prevention and treatment. Screening mammography, gynecologic ultrasound, bone density screening and laboratory services are all provided within our office for added patient convenience. We are most proud to be the only Greensboro office to provide complete urogynecology evaluation and treatment for women with urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
