Oregon Inlet, the Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring sounds of the Outer Banks of North Carolina offers some of the best fishing in the world! Capt. Mike Muse has spent the better part of his life fishing these waters and has taken his long time hobby and turned it into a full time career, fishing year round. Courteous, experienced and always professional, an outing aboard the charter boat "Fish On" will complete your Outer Banks Experience!

Capt. Mike fishes on a new 25' Center Console Boat with a new 250 HP 4 stroke Yamaha Engine. The Boat is clean, well maintained and fully equipped. It has a large T-top to keep you out of the sun, a upper station to help in finding fish and to observe the local sea life, a head (bathroom), and live wells to keep the bait fresh. The Boat is fully equipped with state of the art electronics to aid in finding fish like cobia and red drum and ensuring safety. These include a depth finder, fish finder, GPS, VHF Radio and cell phone. Top-of-the-line Shimano and Penn fishing tackle is rigged to match this area's type of fishing and is waiting for your arrival. The Boat is able to hold over 20 fishing poles. That way you will always be rigged and ready for whatever swims your way!
All bait, tackle and fishing license is supplied, but you are also welcome to bring your own lucky pole!

Yes, we fish year round!
A typical charter with Captain Mike usually begins by catching bait (when available). Full angler participation is welcome - you learn to catch live bait and use it to catch the larger fish. Fishing may vary from bottom fishing the flats or shoals for flounder & speckled trout, trolling for rock, blues and mackerel, marsh fishing the reds or fishing the pilings of the many bridges. Most fishing is done in the sound and inlet. Weather permitting, Capt. Mike will venture a few miles out in the ocean for cobia, albacore, stripers, spanish or king mackerel and bluefish. Weather, tide, season and water temperature play a big role in what type of fishing you will do.
Before you meet up with Capt. Mike, There are a few things you might want to bring along:

Cooler to take home your catch!
There is ice and coolers on the boat, so you might want to leave your cooler in the car until your return to the dock.
