Laundry for CareNet
There are many ways to serve people in the community. One of the small things that helps in a large way is washing laundry for CareNet. They receive many donations and they have the monumental task of sorting through all of the clothing. As a result it is very helpful to have volunteers that are willing to take a load of laundry home with them and wash it. You can do it on your own time, in your own home, and they provide detergent! Baby Mamas is a church playgroup that meets in a different home each week and allows moms to get together and talk about their lives while their preschool-aged children play together.
