SUDDEN IMPACT AUTO BODY & PAINT SHOP began business in 1992, and has been in business at the same location and under the same ownership ever since.
We are located 6 miles west of Jake Alexander Blvd. in Western Rowan County.
Danny Shaw has been doing body work on cars since he was a teenager, and it was always a dream of his to open his own shop. That dream became a reality Danny & Jackie Shaw bought a field and built the shop from the ground up, with invaluable help from manager Rob Roberson. Then they waited for customers to come in, and thankfully the customers did come and have continued to come out to the country to have their cars repaired. The big China Grove hail storm of 1993 helped to put the shop on the map! Over the years the business has grown from a two-man shop to a full service collision repair facility employing approximately 15 technicians using the most modern and up-to-date equipment available in the industry.
Our goal is and has always been to satisfy each and every customer. Nothing will ever replace the personal attention and hands-on management that we have always provided to our customers, and to which we attribute our success. We have office staff that are knowledgeable in handling the insurance claims process from the sudden impact right through to the delivery of the vehicle.
