In 1995, Alfred Covington, M.D. founded the first practice in Rocky Mount, NC exclusively devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of allergy and asthma . In 1997, Dr. Covington started another office in
Johnston County to further extend care for patients in the area.

Allergy and Asthma Specialty Group, P.A. is committed to providing high quality, compassionate allergy and asthma care. Our practice has grown significantly over the years because our patients are satisfied with the care they receive from our knowlegable and friendly staff who use safe and proven procedures, and the latest in medical technology.

We've created this web site for both new and current patients. It includes specific information on our practice and our doctors along with general information about treating allergies and asthma.

Monday: 8:00am-6:00pm
Wednesday through Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1pm to 5pm.

*Please note that the Rocky Mount office and allergy shot clinic will be closed on Friday, May 11, 2007 and Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2007. There are no scheduled shot clinic closings in April 2007.
