Natural or Propane Gas - Check to make sure the gas has not been disconnected by the gas company or that the propane tank is not empty.
Thermostat - Be sure the thermostat is in the on position for heat. It must be set higher than the actual temperature of the room by at least 1 or 2 degrees.
Warm Air Coming from Vents - If air is coming from the vents and it's not cool air, check the outdoor unit to see if it is running. If it is not running, turn the breaker completely off and then turn it back to the "on" position to reset. If this does not correct the problem, call for service.
