Attending to Your Real Estate Needs
In the Commercial Real Estate area, we can assist with everything from basic lease reviews to planning and implementation of large mixed-use developments, including retail, office, hotel, and residential condominium projects. In the Residential Real Estate area, we can close everything from simple, small refinances to estate-sized home purchases, to subdivision development.
Disputes Sometimes Happen
When it comes to litigation, we have a full time litigation attorney, and a complete support staff, who can help with your litigation needs. Whether it is a collection matter or commercial litigation, or personal injury matter, Gorman & Associates can provide professional, personal attention to get the job done for you. Our Corporate Lawyers Mean Business
In the Corporate and Business area, our four attorneys handle everything from basic incorporations and LLC formations, to fairly complex merger and acquisition work. We also review franchise agreements, if you are thinking of purchasing a franchise, or drafting license agreements and franchise agreements if you would like to sell franchises of your business and systems. We have particular expertise working with dentists and doctors, who face much greater upfitting costs than typical business tenants or owners.
We Have a Plan for You
In the Will and Estate Planning area, we draft everything from simple wills to complex trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, health care powers of attorney, credit shelter trusts, probate avoidance trusts, family limited partnerships, and virtually all of the other estate planning documents. Most importantly, we want to tailor your estate plan to your particular needs. Our philosophy is to keep your will or estate plan as simple as possible, while accomplishing all of your goals. For all of our will and estate planning documents, we charge fixed fees based upon the documents we actually prepare- there are no hourly rates, and no "guessing" what the fee will be. When someone has passed on, we are able to help ease the burden of probate and estate administration, and trust administration.
Firm Credentials All of our attorneys are licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina, and are members of the Mecklenburg County Bar. In addition, attorneys of the Firm are collectively licensed to practice law in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and Alabama, as well as numerous federal courts throughout the United States. Please see the Attorney/Staff Profiles page for more information about each of our attorneys.
