RGA Green Renovation Project ($20.00 rate)
In order to make your future golfing experience even better, RGA is currently in the process of a complete green renovation project. While our maintenance crew is hard at work, the public back 9 holes will be closed. Temporary greens will be in play for the remaining "open for public" 18 holes (public front 9 and stockholder's 9). The green renovation project will have no effect upon tee boxes or fairways. You will, therefore, still have the opportunity to work on all other aspects of your game.
For the duration of this project, the rate for public play will be $20.00 per person (all day, every day, with or without cart).
Our long term goal is to provide course conditions (from tee to green) that will make your golfing experience at RGA both challenging and enjoyable. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience of this project, but we are confident that you will be pleased with the end result upon project completion.

Raleigh Golf Association was founded in 1929. We are the second oldest golf course in the Raleigh area. Our course was re-designed in 1998 by David Postlethwaite. RGA currently has 18 holes public and 9 holes that are private but are open to the public at certain times. These 27 holes of golf provide unique challenges for all levels of golf experience. RGA is "walker-friendly", with minimal distances from green-to-tee.
Raleigh Golf Association currently hosts a variety of corporate, fund raising, tournament, and league play events. Our staff is committed to the success of each and every event staged at RGA. We are proud to be a favorite destination of senior, women, and junior golfers. RGA currently hosts senior and women specific golf leagues, and is a frequent host of local high school tournaments and matches.
We have a full line Pro Shop with on site inventory of golf balls, gloves, tees, shoes, shirts, hats, golf bags, push carts, etc. RGA's Snack Bar Facility provides lunch time options as well as a variety of snacks and beverages. RGA is open year round for your playing convenience. Tee times are not required. Starters are on duty at all times.
