Every child learns differently. We understand. We are here to help.
The Davidson Center understands the complexity of learning. For the children who struggle, we understand that children are not lazy or unmotivated; rather they have unrecognized, specific barriers to their academic and social success. We know that it's not their fault! They may have focusing difficulties, anxiety, undetected visual or auditory deficits, sleep problems, sensory difficulties and information processing deficits. Most often it is some combinations of several barriers that can range from mild to severe. For the past ten years we have helped hundreds of families identify their children's problems, understand how they affect school performance and develop a customized plan of appropriate interventions. We start with comprehensive assessments and end with comprehensive solutions.
Come to The Davidson Center and we'll discuss your child's individual needs. Our highly professional staff includes a child and adolescent psychologist, an educational therapist, reading specialists, college counselors and a Certified Educational Planner. This team of highly skilled and experienced educators can remediate skills through specialized instruction and programs, provide counseling, and determine the learning environments best suited to your child's leaning needs. We partner with other professionals (physicians, vision specialists, occupational therapists) in setting your child on a path to academic and school success.
