My predictions are simple.
1) Apple continues the touch metaphor and creates the iMac and the Macbook with touch interfaces.
2) The iOS more commonly seen on the smaller devices will appear as a subset of the bigger machine. Imagine, if you will, your iMac on the kitchen counter defaulting to an easy to use touch interface for when you are needing to quickly browse recipes, emails, or watch an internet TV channel. With another click, you are into a more robust OSX and working on a writing project or reviewing a spreadsheet before running into work in the morning.
3) Apple has been working to bring online a new datacenter in NC. There are many rumors as to why this datacenter exists including streaming music and video, however, the possibilities are so much more. Me.com is becoming a strong platform for future web services. As a family or individual grows to have many devices, it is important to keep the same view of data or information with each. Me.com may be able to provide better protection of our data with online storage of photos, videos, and audio. The next version of OSX could enable this with direct connections to online services.
Will Apple stretch its wings again and jump? So far they haven't disappointed.
