The mission of Albemarle Smart Start Partnership is to improve children's lives in Bertie, Camden, Currituck, Gates and Pasquotank counties. Our goal is to make sure every child in the counties we serve enters school healthy and ready to learn.
To meet that goal, the Partnership provides programs for young children and their caregivers and works to improve the quality of child care in the counties we serve.
The Partnership also funds child care subsidies through each county's department of social services, along with programs designed to support families.

Albemarle Smart Start Partnership announces the start of their subsidy scholarship program. Eligible families of preschool aged children may apply for assistance paying for childcare.
