Dara's love for photography began at ten years of age while living abroad in Germany. Traveling with her family, camera in hand, she was encouraged to photograph while exploring new cultures. Dara made her first pinhole camera at fifteen and from there realized her passion pursuing a degree in Photographic Art & Technology.

Dara's enthusiasm for life and people brings a fresh perspective to her work. Armed with an easy going attitude, her energy is contagious and sets subjects at ease. It's all about capturing the reality of the moment!

Directions from Durham/Chapel Hill: Start out going East on I-40 toward Cary. Take the Cary, Harrison Avenue exit, exit #287. Merge to the right at the top of the exit ramp onto North Harrison Avenue. Travel down Harrison Avenue for 3.6 miles. Turn right onto Dry Avenue and make an immediate left into the stone driveway.

Directions from North Raleigh: Start out going South on I-540 toward I-40. Exit onto I-40 East towng East on I-40 toward Cary. Take the Cary, Harrison Avenue exit, exit #287. Merge to the right at the top of the exit ramp onto North Harrison Avenue. Travel down Harrison Avenue for 3.6 miles. Turn right onto Dry Avenue and make an immediate left into the stone driveway.

Directions from Downtown Raleigh: Start out going West on Hillsborough Street toward Cary. Pass the State Fairgrounds on your right. Merge to the right onto HWY 54 at the stoplight once you have passed the State Fairgrounds. Travel for approximately 4-5 miles on HWY 54. Turn left into Harrison Avenue. Travel on Harrison Avenue for approximately 1/2 mile and turn right onto Dry Avenue. Once on Dry Avenue make an immediate left into the studio driveway.

Directions from Apex/Holly Springs: Start out going North on HWY 55 toward Cary. Travel on HWY 55 until you reach the intersection of HWY 55 and High House Road. Turn right onto High House Road. Travel for approximately 6-7 miles until you reach the end of High House Road. Turn left onto Chatham Street. Travel on Chatham Street for approximately 2 miles until you come to the intersection of Chatham Street and South Harrison Avenue. Turn right onto South Harrison Avenue. Travel approximately 1/4 mile until you reach the intersection of South Harrison Avenue and Dry Avenue. Turn right onto Dry Avenue. Once on Dry Avenue make an immediate left into the studio driveway.
