Minyard Plumbing Inc. is a family-owned and managed business with a 28-year record of serving clients in Hickory, St Stephens, Mountain View, Newton, Conover, Maiden, Lincolnton, Granite Falls, Sawmills, Gamewell, Lenoir, Valdese, Morganton, Taylorsville & Bethlehem – North Carolina. The company strives to provide its customers with quality work at reasonable prices.  Minyard Plumbing began in 1983 with one plumber, one 1962 truck, an answering service and a pager. Today, it has a fleet of 4 trucks and a full-time office staff and is considered one of the most respected services in the tri-county area. Founder, owner and president, Frank Minyard Jr., better known as Butch, is a licensed plumber in the states of North and South Carolina with notable credentials. He learned his trade from his father who was a highly respected member of the Hickory community. From the age of 11, Butch regularly accompanied his dad on call-outs. Mr. Minyard Sr. passed away in 1981, but Butch has upheld his legacy with pride and honor. Butch has notched up more than 35 years in the plumbing industry. Working alongside him is his family, something that he is very proud of. His son, Scott, represents the third generation of the Minyard family to choose plumbing as a career. Jan (Butch’s wife) works in the office while Amy (his daughter) and Mitzi (his daughter-in-law) concentrate on customer service. The company has 5 service technicians (including master and journeyman plumbers) who handle all routine and emergency call-outs.
