My name is Kandy Tereshenko and I'd like to introduce myself and my ranch.
I love horses and have been riding since I was five years old. I have experience with both English and Western disciplines. Trail riding with my horse and my friends is my favorite pastime. My partner, JoAnn Chaika, (Mom to me) and I would love to show you a good time at our ranch.
Kandy's Chance Ranch is situated in Cabarrus County near beautiful Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina. You will discover wooded trails, a spacious riding arena and a well maintained stable. We have miniature horses, ponies, and, of course, we have some big horses.
I offer horse riding lessons to children and adults of all ages, from age 2 to grandparents. Horse riding lessons at Kandy's Chance Ranch are basic riding, and are geared for the beginner/inexperienced rider for the love of riding. We do not offer competition training. I will show you how to groom, saddle and tack up a horse and become familiar with all of the equipment and commands needed for riding. Most riding lessons conclude with a short trail ride. I specialize in child/parent lessons.
Looking for a way to add some fun to your next birthday party? We offer pony rides, hands on the miniature horses and a craft. We take a picture of the entire birthday party group and print it out after the pony rides are finished while you enjoy your refreshments and gift opening at the two large picnic tables we provide! Each party participant receives a picture as a remembrance of the party.
At the ranch we also offer summer and winter camp options. Our horse camps are very popular with all aspects of basic horse care and riding covered. We have full day camps as well as several mini camps for ages 4 and up. Winter camp between Christmas and New Year. What a great Christmas gift for your child!
Not only do we have horse riding lessons and camps here at the ranch, but we also provide pony rides for any number of special events, field trips, community celebrations, company parties, grand openings, school events, church functions, family reunions, and open houses - we can come to you.
