Most docks can be saved without having to pay tens of thousands of dollars to replace them; and for a fraction of the cost. A lot of docks were built with Styrafoam and they start to sink because the flotation becomes water logged or is damaged by ice and small animals (muskrats and river otters). However, these docks are still salvageable. To give those old docks new life and to ensure they last for many years we replace the flotation with encapsulated foam floatation material.
