Seacoast Systems designs, installs, warranties, and services storm shutter systems for new and existing homes in North Carolina. Seacoast carries a full line of self storing and removable shutter systems. Self storing systems include extruded aluminum roll shutters, fabric roll shutters, accordion shutters and traditional shutters in Colonial and Bahama styles. Removable storm shutters include aluminum, clear Lexan and fabric panel systems. We also design and install custom solar shades, wood plantation shutters and "Solar Innovations Inc." doors and windows systems. Most installation uses a combination of shutter systems to meet the customer's unique needs. Each product has its own combination of benefits, relating to strength, esthetics, and ease of use, along with additional benefits such as energy savings, sun control, and security to name a few. Many clients phase in their installations, protecting the most vulnerable and hardest to get to locations first.
We represent "Alutech United, Inc." manufacturers of the best-quality building code rated Alu-Star roll down shutters, Studio-Star bottom box roll up shutters, and "High Velocity" accordion shutters. We also carry "New Horizon Shutters", both impact-rated and non-rated, and functional authentic styled Colonial and Bahama shutters made of a combination of high density structural PVC, high-impact ABS plastic, and aluminum with stainless steel hardware. Functional Colonial and Bahama shutters made of extruded aluminum are also available. Our Colonial and Bahamas are effective, self-storing storm protection that greatly enhances the look of island style homes. We also carry "Clear Strength", the first truly clear hurricane panel.

We have done work over the last 11 years on Pleasure Island, Topsail Island, Bald Head, Figure 8, and Wrightsville Beach and have extensive references with architects, contractors and homeowners. Seacoast owner, Jonathan Summit, has been in the industry for 26 years and does all of the order specifications and production sheets and oversees each installation. The challenge of designing good looking, functional installations without detracting from the home design is our specialty. We can design roll down installations that conceal the systems into attics, overhangs and or reversed into the walls. Trim specifications, pre-wiring, electrical layout, remote control systems, and override systems are some of the issues we deal with regularly.
Seacoast Systems can supply professional installation, or the products can be purchased without installation but with comprehensive technical assistance throughout the installation process. These products will give you realistic hurricane protection and peace of mind.
