Second Gear is a consignment shop in Asheville, NC specializing in outdoor gear, clothing, footwear and accessories - used & new. We feature bikes, vehicle racks and related accessories, kayaks, paddling accessories, backpacks, tents, camping supplies, climbing gear, snowboards, disc golf equipment, guidebooks and maps as well as a wide variety of outdoor apparel, boots and shoes.
Our shop is located in West Asheville at 444 Haywood Road (just a block from the I-240 Haywood Road exit).

We sell reasonably priced, secondhand outdoor gear (kayaks, canoes, mountain bikes, road bikes, and camping equipment), outdoor clothing, guidebooks and maps, and accessories. Second Gear also offers a great selection of new dealer samples from leading outdoor companies, priced below MSRP.
We're a reliable place for you to sell equipment and outdoor clothing that you've outgrown, no longer use, or need to get rid of so you can upgrade.
