You may wonder, “What is Prosthodontics and why should I see a Prosthodontist?” Prosthodontics is one of nine specialties of dentistry that are recognized by the American Dental Association. A prosthodontist is a dental specialist in the restoration and replacement of teeth. Extensive training and education provide us with the skills for restoring optimum function and esthetics to your smile. These include: crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, complete and removable partial dentures, dental implant restorations, TMD-jaw joint problems, traumatic injuries to the mouth ’s structures and/or teeth, and oral cancer reconstruction and continuing care.
Many of the patient's we treat have complex needs and we work to provide all of our patients with the best diagnostic evaluations and a through understanding of their dental needs. We want our patient's to understand the risk and benefit for all possible treatment options so they can make an informed decision concerning their dental health. We strive to improve the quality of their oral health and improve the esthetics of their smiles. We help them achieve greater comfort and confidence by providing each patient with the restorations that best fits their individual needs. We work closely with other dental specialists and the patient's general dentist to coordinate all of the dental procedures.
