Hope Counseling Services ("HCS") offers private, confidential counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We specialize in helping people of all ages to meet life's challenges, maintain satisfying relationships with family and friends, and gain self-understanding. We use a blend of traditional and holistic approaches to help bring a balance of healing to the mind, body, and spirit. HCS has provided counseling services to Catawba County and surrounding areas in a strictly confidential and caring environment. HCS works cooperatively with other health care providers, community agencies, schools, and churches to support the growth and well-being of individuals and their families.
The telephones are answered 24 hours a day, seven days per week. When the office staff is unavailable our answering service will pick up. Please leave a message and the office staff or therapist will return your call as soon as possible. HCS does not provide emergency services. If you have an emergency, please call 911 and ask to speak to the mental health counselor on call or go to your nearest emergency room.
Our fees are comparable toother counseling facilities in our area. In most cases, your insurance company will pay a portion of your allowable rate. Our staff will be happy to discuss fees with you and provide you in advance with your insurance benefits and an estimate of costs. Payments may be made by cash, check, ormoney order. There is a fee charged for returned checks.
Clients are seen by appointment only. Appointments may be made by calling (828)304-4677. In most cases, clients can be scheduled within the week. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call 24 hours in advance so we may schedule another client in your place. Other than emergency situations, there is a charge for a missed appointment or an appointment canceled with less than a 24-hour notice. Your insurance company will not pay for this charge.
As a courtesy to you, we will prepare and submit the insurance claim form to your insurancecompany. However, if your insurance company does not pay, you are responsible for the bill.
