Dead Broke Farm offers a fun and safe horseback riding experience for everyone. Our friendly, knowledgeable guides would love to take you riding on our beautiful horses through scenic, wooded trails and give you the horseback riding adventure of a lifetime!
Dead Broke Farm offers horseback riding to satisfy every equine adventure need - guided trail rides, western style riding lessons, birthday parties, summer and track-out camp, camping trips, Y-Guides and Princesses Tribe rides (including patches), Girl Scout and Boy Scout merit badges, corporate outings, field trips, weddings, reunions, and festivals.
Located on 112 rolling, wooded acres in the Raleigh / Durham / RTP area, Dead Broke Farm offers you the opportunity to experience North Carolina's beauty in the most natural way - by horseback!
Imagine going horseback riding on winding trails through a shady forest - the rhythm of your horse, a lazy creek, and an abundance of wildlife. It's as if - for a while - you've stepped back in time to rediscover the beauty that surrounds you. But for those seeking a more adventurous ride, we can pick up the pace on sections of the trail where it's safe to do so.
Safety is an important consideration in all our riding programs. We provide experienced guides, riding instructions, and riding helmets at no additional charge. We are trained in CPR and First Aid techniques. We have received the North American Horsemen's Association Safety Award every year since we began offering horseback riding to the public.
So get taken for a ride at Dead Broke Farm, and let your horseback riding adventures begin!
For those of you who own your own horse, we also offer boarding and training. Call or email for details.
Volunteer positions are available. You must be 13 years old or older to participate in our volunteer program. Inquiries are accepted by phone and email.
