Lake Norman SCUBA offers an extensive
selection of Recreational and Technical diver
education classes. From Open Water through
Extended Range, we have classes for both first time
and experienced divers. In business for many years
with over 1500 certifications successfully completed,
you will not find a more experienced or reliable dive
center for education, equipment, service or advice.
Our Five Star quality of education has received
honors from PADI and has led us to be the only
PADI endorsed scuba shop in Lake Norman.
We are here for you and your enjoyment of diving.

Both a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center and TDI facility, Lake Norman Scuba offers the Lake Norman area its only PADI endorsed dive center. We offer a full line of quality dive and snorkel gear, PADI and TDI classes, equipment servicing, air fills, paintball tank fills and trips. Do You Know Your Dive Shop?
When selecting a dive shop it is important to carefully review their credentials. Being informed makes for safe and happy divers! Key factors to check out include:
Is the shop endorsed by PADI or a PADI certified 5 STAR facility?
What are the credentials and ratings of their staff Instructors?
How many certifications has their store completed?
Do they have factory trained and certified technicians on hand to assess and repair equipment?
Do they have state certified tank Visual Inspectors?
Do they have in-house certified gas blenders?
Is their air tested and certified by an independent lab to ensure premium air quality and safety?
When looking for a scuba shop, ask these questions and ask to see licenses and certifications to make sure you will receive a safe, high-quality experience whether you are learning to dive for the first time or need equipment servicing. Learn how with our Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course on
Tuesday, November 16th at 6 pm
Advance registration is required as there is some homework for the first class.

PADI Nitrox Online
In conjunction with PADI, we are proud to offer PADI's Enriched Air Nitrox online training.

Once you have completed the course, you simply need to call the shop and schedule an hour with one of our instructors to go over what you have learned.
We only charge $35 for the certiification card and you are a certified Nitrox diver!
