Join us as we worship; become a part of the St. James family.
Our vision at St. James is that "God's ever-present love enables us to worship, to lead and to serve." We love because God first loved us, and as Christians, we share that love with each other and the world about us. Loving God directs us towards worshipping God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In that act, we give ultimate worth to God. As we worship, God bids us to lead. We lead in ministry, in outreach, in educating our people in the faith, and we lead others to faith in Christ. As we lead, we take part in Jesus's servant ministry wherein we give of ourselves, in love, to the world around us.
While this vision has been a part of St. James's history for over 150 years, there is a renewed sense here that the Holy Spirit is guiding us into ever deepening paths in which to worship, lead and serve.
Our goals for St. James are that we
1. Be a community where all are welcome
2. Enhance our worship, pastoral care, and education
3. Develop innovative stewardship programs
4. Equip all members for ministry and outreach.
