Founded in 1966 by Dr. David Bruton and Dr. Bill Clark, Sandhills Pediatrics is committed to the care of all children of the Sandhills region. We are a dedicated group of eight board-certified pediatricians, two certified pediatric nurse practitioners, and caring nursing and office staff members.

You can now schedule your child's "express lane" nurse-only flu vaccine online! If you have an appointment in the next few weeks anyway, it is not necessary to schedule a seperate visit for flu vaccine.

"All in one" seasonal flu vaccine is now available (hooray, no separate H1N1 vaccine this year!).

Your child must be a patient of Sandhills Pediatrics to schedule an appointment. If you have more than one child please make sure each child is scheduled in an appointment time. "If you need to schedule more than 3 children, please call us if you can not find enough slots!

Good news for 2010 flu season. "Regular" seasonal flu & H1N1 vaccines will be "all in one". We anticipate good supplies of both injectible and nasal mist vaccine. We will post an announcement on our website when our flu clinics begin. .
We proudly announce the addition of a new pediatrician to our practice, Sarah R. Locklear, MD, on August 3, 2009. Dr. Locklear completed medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill and pediatric internship/residency training at UNC Hospitals in June 2009. Please call our offices to schedule an appointment with Dr. Locklear.
Effective November 1, 2009, federal regulations require us to IDENTIFY all new and returning patients for office visits. This requirement is for your protection. It's purpose is to help prevent identity theft.
Parents/Guardians/Caregivers should be prepared to display ONE government-issued photo ID, i.e., driver's license, passport, military ID, or other state-issued ID; or TWO forms of other ID such as social security card, school or company ID, utility bills, or bank credit/debit cards. We appreciate your cooperation.
Sandhills Pediatrics is happy to announce its new Seven Lakes satellite office. The satellite office is located at 1035 Seven Lakes Dr., Suite A. The new office will be open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 p.m. and can be reached at 910-673-1600. There will be two physicians available most days.
