Mike Bayley was raised in Raleigh, N.C. has worked as a professional photographer for 30 years. Originally as a B/W photojournalist for the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam years, then learning his portrait and people skills managing a large portrait studio in Jacksonville, Fla. for 15 years. Photographing hundreds of weddings, countless beach portraits and many, many children and high school seniors, Mike returned home to the triangle in the late 80s opening his own portrait studio in Raleigh in 1992. Mike has the creativity and people skills to capture the important moments and events in our lives that become cherished memories. For Mike, an artist with an eye for details, emotions, lighting, and beauty, photography is his way of capturing the personal relationships of his subjects. From the innocence of a small child, the developing beauty of teenage girl, to the romance and emotions of a bride and her groom, Mike gives all of his clients his very best effort.
