We are board certified in general and interventional cardiology as well as published consultants and educators. We are dedicated to your proper heart health and to making sure you get the best in cardiovascular care. We perform nuclear stress tests, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, echocardiogram, consultations and cardiac evaluations.
Doctors Sagir Ahmed, Nazim Khan and Ishtiaque Mohiuddin are all specially trained and board certified in a variety of methods for cardiovascular care, including cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology, coronary artery disease, and congestive heart failure. All three cardiologists are ex faculty members of East Carolina University Brody School Of Medicine, where they taught and trained future cardiologists. All cardiologists are on the staff of Rex Health Care, Wake Med Raleigh and Wake Med Cary Hospitals.
In addition, they speak a combined eight languages fluently, including English, Bengali, Farsi, Hindi, and Japanese, so they are able to communicate with their patients from all over the world comfortably in a tongue they are able to understand clearly.
