The opening of Silvia Hair Designs in September 2004 is proof that positive hardwork plus determination still add up to the American Dream.

Silvia, along with her hushand and 2 children immigrated to the United States from a small village in Romania in 1990. Over the last two decades she has worked hard to make a better life for herself and her family.
In 1995, she became a graduate and earned her Cosmetology License from J.H. Thompson Academies in Erie, PA. Her talent and dedication have earned her the loyalty of many clients. The majority of her clientele are referrals from other satisfied customers. In 2004, after close to a decade in the hair industry, Silvia realized her dream and opened Silvia Hair Designs.
