is a non-profit private adoption agency licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. We have Social Workers around the state available to work with prospective birthparents and adoptive parents.

NLCA is able to provide a full range of services to birthparents and adoptive parents, including home studies and pre-placement assessments for:

We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for birthparents.

All services to birthparents are free of charge.

NLCA was created as a support ministry for birthparents facing unplanned/crisis pregnancies and who are unsure if they are at a place in their life where parenting would be in the best interest of the child
If a birthparent is in need of financial assistance, we will assess the need to provide appropriate support.

We lovingly assist birthparents and adoptive parents develop and adoption plan that takes into consideration the desires and well-being of everyone involved.

We provide educational and supportive counseling to all involved in the adoption triad.
