The Healing Place of Wake County Hires Director of Specialized Services
The Healing Place of Wake County is a non-profit 501(c)(3) recovery and rehabilitation facility for homeless people with alcohol and drug dependency, located in Raleigh, NC.
Our mission is to offer innovative recovery and rehabilitation to homeless alcoholic and chemically dependent men and women through a continuing mutual-help program. The program is specifically designed to rekindle the client's desire to return to a meaningful and productive life.
Approximately 70 percent of our clients are sober and productive members of society on year after graduation.
Message from the Chief Executive Officer
As The Healing Place approaches its 10 Year Anniversary, many people come to mind that have assisted us in helping people find their way back. The Healing Place Memorial Garden will provide a living record of those who you may want to honor and remember. This garden will provide a place for reflection and meditation to strengthen the soul and give others the opportunity to find their way back from homelessness and addiction to alcohol and other drugs.
We are excited about this project and we would love for you to get involved. A memorial garden planning committee is being formed now, please contact Lisa Rousseau or Terri Conyers at 919 838-9800 and find out how you can be a part of this extraordinary project.
