Newcomers Luncheon Sunday, November 14We invite all newcomers to this quarterly luncheon! Who is a newcomer? new members who have never attended a luncheon or a visitor who is considering joining our church. You are invited as our guests. Please know that we are delighted that you desire to become part of the family of faith at Hayes Barton and we look forward to getting to know you and helping you become acclimated to our church and involved in growth and service opportunities. The luncheon meets following worship in the fellowship hall.
Operation Inasmuch Planning MeetingNovember 14Our next OIAM will be April 9th, 2011. It is time to plan. Urban Ministries Food DriveSeveral groups are collecting for the Urban Ministries Food Drive. They are in urgent need of the following items: Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken), Canned Fruits, Canned Vegetables, Canned Soups, Breakfast Cereal, Grits, Powdered or Boxed Milk, Dried beans, Mac & Cheese, Applesauce, Peanut butter and Jelly, Pasta (Dry and Canned), Rice, Juice and Juice Boxes. There are several locations located around the church labeled Urban Ministries where you can drop off these items.
Thanksgiving Service - November 25We will hold our annual Thanksgiving Service at 10:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, November 25. The service will be held in the sanctuary. Please join us for this special service and remember to invite friends, neighbors and relatives. Childcare will not be provided.
