Wayne Montessori School was founded in 1979 to provide the first Montessori education to the children of Wayne County. Located in a lovely residential area of Goldsboro, WMS is a nonprofit private school offering individualized instruction, preschool through third grade that balances intellectual stimulation and emotional development.
Children of all ages show a remarkable interest in reading, math, geography, science and practical life as they work in a non-competitive, calm atmosphere with materials designed to stimulate their natural curiosity.
