Located on the southwest corner of Cary Parkway and Kildaire Farm Road, Triangle Pediatrics was founded in 1980 by Dr. Teresa Salter, the third pediatrician in Cary, and the second woman doctor in Cary. The original office was on the corner of Chatham Street and Academy Street in downtown Cary.

After developing a thriving practice and loyal following, she relocated to the present location at the corner of Cary Parkway and Kildaire Farm Road. The office has been remodeled and enlarged several times.
In 1989 she was joined by Dr. David Horowitz, then by Dr. Bill Adams, Dr. Irene Chao, Dr. Samantha Baer and Dr. Mary Elizabeth Capps.
