A photograph is a glance… then, “How pretty!”
Fine art portraiture evokes emotion from the heart and draws the viewer back, time and time again. Photographs are fuzzy filters, hastily thrown up backdrops and formula shots. Fine art portraiture is light passionately dancing with shadows. Photographs are done in short order with stamped out notions that mute the moment. Fine art portraiture takes a keen creativity with time to plan, time to capture, and time in a fine art lab to enhance without taking away the natural beauty.
There are many who can take a photograph but only a few who can create fine art portraiture. Kim Crenshaw can because she immersed herself totally for four years in the world of fine art photography, of light and shadow, of creative thinking and originality, as well as four years of learning and knowing the precise sense of graphic design. The result was a degree from a Fine Art College with a double major of Photography and Graphic Design.
From there began a fourteen year career of fine tuning her craft which lead to photographing British ambassadors and brilliant magazine layouts; district judges and dazzling jugglers; album covers for unique musicians and amazing portraits of uncommon children, brides-to-be, couples, teenagers, families, and babies.
She wants to bring out the best in you or your child, because she insisted that she had the background to bring out the best in her.
And where is this fine art to be created? At her studio and garden, in a land of beauty. In fields of flowing green on the edge of woods, arbors, white picket fences, garden flowers and a stately old house as studio, full of French doors, polished hardwood floors, and lace curtains. ..or at other unique locations. You will decide. Lasting beauty is created whether it’s her environment or yours. Contact Kim Crenshaw today!
