So, what exactly is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent Makeup is more than just applying color to clients. It is a dynamic field that is constantly improving in technique, equipment & colors available. I think the 'Permanent Cosmetics Network' puts it best by stating that it is "a state-of-the-art form of Cosmetic Tattooing. The specialized techniques used for Permanent Makeup are often referred to as 'micropigmentation', micropigment implantation' or dermagraphics'. The cosmetic implantation technique deposits tiny individual implants of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin."
The result is a soft, natural enhancement to your appearance! In building this website, my goal is for you to learn about Permanent Makeup and to have the information you need to select me as your Board Certified Derma Technician!
Why Board Certified?
As the first woman to become Board Certified in Micropigmentation in North Carolina, I feel very strongly that this certification is a 'must have' when you are looking for a technician. It demonstrates the commitment of the technician to uphold the highest standards in the industry, and validates that they have reached a level of expertise that is respected by other experts in the field!
