Welcome to The New School Montessori Center!
We are a private, accredited, non-profit Montessori school for toddlers through sixth grade located in Holly Springs, southern Wake County, North Carolina. The school is ideally situated for families living in the Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Apex, and southern Raleigh communities.
As an accredited member of the American Montessori Society since 1984, our school offers a wide range of specialized materials and programs taught by certified Montessori teachers and specialty staff.
Our Toddler and Children’s House programs feature a child-centered, individualized approach designed to foster independence and self-esteem through encouraging your child’s natural curiosity and love of learning. We believe that every child has the right to learn at their own pace in a supportive, non-competitive, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The specially-designed Montessori materials and experiences ensure that each child is provided with the opportunity to learn in a way that best suits their strengths, learning styles, and individual needs.
Building on the skills developed in the younger years, our Elementary programs are integrated, intellectually stimulating, and skills-focused. The curriculum becomes increasingly project-based as the students progress from the concrete materials into more abstract learning. The emphasis of our Elementary programs is to inspire and empower your child with the requisite skills to reach their full potential and become productive and successful members of society.
