Welcome to Cornerstone Church a young, intentionally diverse, multicultural and seeker-friendly United Methodist congregation in the Fayetteville District of the North Carolina Conference. Thank you for visiting our website.
Cornerstone Church is a community of faith for all people embracing all races and cultural backgrounds, ages and stages of life who seek new life in Jesus Christ. We celebrate God's gift of diversity and invite everyone to grow in God's grace and participate in the mission and ministry of Christ for the transformation of the world.
Our mission is through joyful worship, spiritual nurture, and compassionate outreach, we seek to reach all for making disciples of Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to offer better life through Christ and the ministries of His church. And our ministry is to be intentional in helping people grow in their personal relationship with God through joyful worship, including Eucharist every Sunday, prayers, fellowship, small groups, and evangelism.
It is our hope that you will come to know our church as your own church. We meet each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. for Sunday School for all ages and at 11:00 a.m. for Worship. Cornerstone UMC provides outstanding NURSERY CARE during our services for children 0-2 years old. If you need directions to the NURSERY please ask one of our greeters or ushers.

Pastor Edgar Receives Pie In The Face After We Reach 106 People in Attendance on Sept. 12, 2010
Pastor Edgar De Jesus told the church leadership at the beginning of his ministry at Cornerstone Church that he was willing to be hit by a "pie in the face" if we reached more than 100 worship attendees at our Sunday Worship Celebration! And we got 106 that came on Sept. 12! Praise the Lord for Pastor Edgar, as you can see below, is a man of his word!

Everyone is invited to Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser to support our CCEC Pre-Scool. Breakfat is this Saturday, Nov. 13 from 8-10am @ Fellowship Hall. Ticket cost $5 (pancakes, sausage, orange juice & coffee).
All youth ages 12-18 years old are invited @ the Nov. 12-14 Pilgrimage @ Crown Coliseum. Registration extended to this Thursday, Nov. 11. Please contact Pastor Edgar or Michael Davis Jr.
DEC. 12 CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
All children are welcome to join our Christmas Program Practice every Sunday right after our 11am Worship Celebration. Please contact Wayne & Delette Haiduven.
Come and join us every Wednesday Prayer Meeting, 6pm @ the church. "My house shall be called a house of prayer." (Matthew 21:13)
Come and reach out people for Jesus Christ! We need volunteers to help us distribute outreach flyers to the neighborhood on Saturday Nov. 20 from 8:30-10am.
