Coastal Speech Center, Inc. is a privately owned, Christian-based, speech pathology practice that uses holistic approaches to enhance speech / language / learning abilities for the clients we serve. We are a diagnostic and tutorial center specializing in learning disabilities, dyslexia, and auditory processing disorders. Our mission is to strengthen the cognitive skills of our students and to build a foundation for success in all areas of their lives.
The clinicians at Coastal Speech Center help people of all ages overcome learning challenges (including dyslexia, attention deficit disorder (ADD), and auditory disorders) by developing underlying processing skills and processing speed. We use a variety of tools and techniques to target the causes of learning disability. We offer a warm, caring, team approach to the learning process and will strive to provide the best therapeutic programs and methodologies to help improve upon whatever area a child needs in order to communicate effectively in his/her environment. We incorporate the entire family in the learning process of the child in order to promote fast, effective, and optimal results in our programs. We offer state of the art therapy procedures, programs, tools, and tests to evaluate and treat each client.
Our mission and purpose is deep rooted in our faith in that we will use all our ability and knowledge in speech-language pathology to successfully meet the individual needs of each client. Students that have completed our programs have discovered that they spend less time on homework. They report that they are able to stay focused and pay better attention in the classroom. The number one comment that we hear is that students feel more confident in their abilities to do their work independently.
