All this beautiful weather we enjoy in southeastern North Carolina has a dark side. Thunderstorms can come up on us with little warning and can do a lot of damage. Be sure to use high quality surge suppression on all your computer equipment. But, even good surge suppression won't save your equipment if lightning strikes close by. When lightning gets close, shut your computers down and remove the plug from the wall. Don't forget to remove the cables to your DSL, cable or analog modem.
Are you protected from viruses ?
It's not good enough to have an antivirus program running on your computer. We suggest you update your antivirus software daily and that you scan your hard drive at least once a month.
