We handle all aspects of Pediatric Dentistry, from treatment of dental decay and dental trauma to orthodontic guidance of the developing dentition. We also have experience in treating exceptional needs and medically compromised children. All of our dentists have hospital training and our practice provides a full range of sedation techniques to assist us in the treatment of your child. Using the latest technology, our experienced team works together to give your child exceptional quality treatment from the initial visit.
Dr. Scott Goodman's bio:
“Dr. Scott” received his dental degree from The Ohio State University in 1979. Dr. Scott Goodman completed a General Practice Residency in Worcester, MA, followed by a fellowship at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem. He then completed a Pediatric Dental Residency and Masters Degree at the University of Iowa. He has been in private practice since 1983 and is board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Scott Goodman’s volunteer activities include teaching residents at Carolinas Medical Center and the University of Texas, Health Science Center San Antonio and working with government agencies to improve access to dental care for children.
Dr. Margaret Lochary's bio:
“Dr. Meg” graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Margaret Lochary received her dental degree from the University of North Carolina. She then completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Columbus Children’s Hospital and a Masters Degree at Ohio State University. In 1991, she moved to Weddington and worked as the Section Head of Pediatric Dentistry at Carolinas Medical Center for seven years. In 1995, she received her Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. For over 15 years she has been in private practice with Dr. Goodman. Dr. Margaret Lochary actively volunteers at her church and at the Union County schools attended by her children.
Dr. Jason Sperati's bio:
“Dr. Jason” received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of North Carolina in 1996 and 2000. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in 2002. In 2004, Dr. Jason Sperati completed his Masters Degree at Ohio State University and his Pediatric Residency at Columbus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Jason Sperati was chosen to be Chief Resident at both hospitals at which he completed his residency. Dr. Sperati maintains his memberships with such prominent organizations as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, as well as local dental societies. In addition to overall pediatric dental care, he has specific interest in the treatment of children with special healthcare needs and the management of dental trauma.
Dr. Stephanie Jackson's bio:
“Dr. Stephanie” received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She spent the following year as a Fulbright Scholar doing dental research in Heidelberg, Germany. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with Highest Distinction at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, after which she completed a Masters Degree and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at UNC-CH. She has received several awards for her research on the relationship between oral health and school performance. Dr. Jackson has a special interest in the prevention of dental disease and infant oral health care. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. She and her husband, Alfred, enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family, including their dog “Bernie”.
